What are the benefits of participating?

You only incur the savings when you make a sale.

How much savings do I need to offer?

Participating Businesses offer a standard 20% savings on their principal activity. This applies only to the main experience your business provides.

What counts as my principal activity?

Your principal activity is the primary experience described in your BUGMe listing and public materials. If you offer multiple experiences, savings apply only to those clearly designated as principal offerings.

How do we verify a Road Trip Pass?

Travelers must:

  1. Inform you before booking or purchase

  2. Present proof of an active pass at check-in or arrival

Businesses may verify the status of a pass via www.bugme.travel/verify

Are we required to honor savings retroactively?

No.

Savings:

  • Are not retroactive

  • Do not apply to existing reservations

  • Do not apply if the pass is purchased at the time of booking

Do we control availability?

Please treat a road trip passholder as you would any other reservation.

Is BUGMe a booking platform?

No.

BUGMe is a discovery and referral platform only. All bookings, payments, refunds, and customer service happen directly between you and the vacationer.

Will BUGMe cut into our sales?

No.

You keep:

  • Full control

  • Full customer relationship

  • Full payment

BUGMe simply helps connect you with travelers and incentivizes them to book.

Are we required to become an affiliate?

No.

Affiliate participation is optional, but it allows you to:

  • Earn commissions on Road Trip Pass sales

  • Offset savings you offer

  • Sell an additional product at your business

Can we remove our listing?

Yes.

You may request removal at any time. However, any reservations made while you were participating must still be honored.

What happens if there’s a dispute?

BUGMe may:

  • Contact both parties for clarification

  • Update listings to prevent confusion

  • Remove participation if misrepresentation occurs

Our goal is clarity and resolution, not punishment.

BUGMe works best for businesses that:
